Notice of Proposed Adoption of School Facilities Fees
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Caliente Union School District will hold a public hearing on the proposed adoption of school facilities fees on residential and commercial/industrial development.
The proposed fees would be levied for the purpose of funding the construction and reconstruction of school facilities necessary to maintain current levels of educational services to children in the District.

The Superintendent’s Report on the proposed increased fees is on file in the Office of the Superintendent, and is available for public review. Members of the public are invited to provide comment in writing on or before December 11, 2020 at the above office. The Board’s consideration of the increased fees is scheduled for December 15, 2020.
Any person challenging in court the decision made at the conclusion of such public hearing may be limited to raising only those issues raised at such hearing or in correspondence delivered to the school district prior to the close of such hearing.

Annual and Five Year Accounting of School Facilities Fees
Caliente Union School District has made the 2019-2020 Annual and Five Year Accounting of School Facilities Fees available for public inspection on November 23, 2020. The Annual Accounting is available during normal working hours at the District Office at 12400 Caliente Creek Rd. Caliente CA 93518. The Board of Trustees will consider the approval of these fees at the next regularly scheduled meeting on December 15, 2020 at 6:30 p.m.
